Fathers Day played this halloween show and we went as a 60's pop group and we kicked everyones ass! Then afterwords I took this photobooth strip.

Fathers Day Crashed the Che Cafe

So quintron didnt really tell anyone at the venue that fathers day was playing. he just told them "they are with us, let them in" and as they loaded there gear in, we loaded in ours aswell.

the crowd was huge. but 90% of the people there sucked! big jerks, every one of them. totally not what i expected. lots and lots of "haircuts" and snooty art punks and also drunken "dudebrahs" that i would expect to see at a minibosses show.

opening noise act plays for 40 minutes.
harry merry plays for 40 minutes.
some girls plays for 40 minutes.
miss pussycat puppet show is 20 minutes.
quintron and miss pussycat play for about 20 minutes, playing only about 6 songs and cutting them all short

before they play the final song they announce "this is our last song of the evening, then we are going to hear from the amazing fathers day who came all the way from phoenix arizona they are better than anything you have heard before"

during the last song we load our stuff right in front of the stage and get everyone out of our way.

takes 1-2 minutes to get everything plugged in and working. bass wasnt working, sperm donor dad got the crowd pumped instead.

we open on "when i say woman i'm talking to you!" the place goes "apeshit". we followed that up with a couple short thrash songs "slut" and "are you sure the childs mine?" then we go into "she's just a friend" and i notice unusual sounds coming from the band. i turn around and freakin quintron is playing organ and drum buddy with fathers day!

we played a short and sweet set and got a killer honcore chant. honcored with the theme. most the people didnt really "get" that, but thats alright.

we sold 4 shirts / 5 new cds / and one copy of spank the world.

quintron said we sounded like the locust.

this has been another dream come true.
