The Quest played 3 fantastic shows this past week. 2 of which were pretty last minute. they were at Carlys, The Firehouse and Copperstar Coffee. If you attended any of these magical moments in time then you know for yourself. And if you weren't there then you have to just watch these videos. this is a new song called "for andrew..." i merged it together with an old song called "liars"
Fathers Day filmed this back in September, 2008 and it is finally available online. I hope you enjoy!
The performance included Emily and I eating messy chocolate cake with our hands and feeding each other and asking people about food and singing our song about eating disorders. Then we took our jackets off and put them in the washer we were singing by and we wrapped up in a big green blanket and did a cover of weezer's "el scorcho" which now hopefully has a whole new meaning to the crowd that witnessed it. Sadly there is no documentation of this, no photographs or videos, just memories. Hopefully we will perform again sometime soon. The show starts at 7:00pm? or 8:00pm? i think. we aren't going on till after 9pm because that's when emily gets off of work! here are the other bands playing. -little bunny feefee music box along (FUN! HAVE FUN!) -josh moke (i dont know who this is) -food by mario (DELICIOUS!) -the coitus (CIRCUIT BENT AMAZING-NESS!) -the hunger artist (hooray?!) -wingnut (SIMPLE / BEAUTIFUL / NOISE!) -andrew jemsek (PUNK ROCK ACCORDIAN!) -johnathan standiford (PIANO!) and i believe there is more but i dont know who. BUT THE BEST PART IS ITS ALL FREE!!!! |
